DIRECTIONS

From Auckland take State Highway 1 (SH1) along the Southern Motorway following the signs for Hamilton. Leave the motorway at exit 477 turning left onto State Highway 2 (SH2) signposted to Coromandel Peninsula / Tauranga.

After approximately 34 kms leave SH2 for State Highway 25 (SH25) signposted to Thames / Coromandel Peninsula. Approaching the Coromandel Peninsula you cross a two lane bridge over the Waihou River. Do not take the slip road signposted to Kopu but proceed to the roundabout and take the left exit signposted to Coromandel Town / Thames following SH 25. The entrance to Thorold Country House is 300 metres on the right, before the Mobil Service Station. Enter across the cattle grid and follow the driveway up to the house.
