DIRECTIONS

From Auckland take State Highway 1 (SH1) along the Southern Motorway following the signs for Hamilton. Leave the motorway at exit 477 turning left onto State Highway 2 (SH2) signposted to Coromandel Peninsula / Tauranga.

After approximately 34 kms leave SH2 for State Highway 25 (SH25) signposted to Thames / Coromandel Peninsula. Approaching the Coromandel Peninsula you cross a long single lane bridge over the Waihou River, controlled by traffic lights, leading into Kopu.

At the next T junction, with a Mobil Service Station directly in front, turn right onto State Highway 26 (SH26) and the entrance to Thorold Country House is 150 metres on the left. Enter across the cattle grid and follow the driveway up to the house.
